Introduction to KAFACI

The Korea-Africa Food and Agriculture Cooperation Initiative (KAFACI) is a multilateral body focused on strengthening food security and sustainable agriculture across Africa through shared knowledge, technology, and collaborative research

Established in Seoul, Republic of Korea, in 2010, KAFACI brings together member countries from Africa and Korea to implement joint projects, capacity-building programs, and training activities focused on priority agricultural challenges. Through research partnerships and field-based initiatives, KAFACI supports innovation, productivity improvement, and sustainable rural development.
