Introduction to Dr. Hela Chikh-Rouhou

Dr. Hela Chikh-Rouhou is a researcher in vegetable crops at the CRRHAB. Her research focuses on the valorization of local genetic resources (mainly melon and onion) and their exploitation for sustainable agriculture. Her main research axes include germplasm characterization, assessment of genetic diversity, phenotypic and molecular analyses for biotic and abiotic stress tolerance, and strategies for the sustainable utilization of local varieties to enhance productivity and resilience.
